GSI is the new name for Global Surface Intelligence, Edinburgh-based but with it’s own global footprint of customers. Their old logo was an orbiting moon (a natural satellite) but GSI needed an icon to convey that they are a data processing specialist, not a satellite operating company, so imagery of actual satellites in orbit around planets or circling moons would give the wrong signals of what it actually is that GSI does for clients. Using the shorter name GSI, the re-branding brief included the logo and website as well as their own presentation material and some design input into their onscreen product interface itself. The new colour palette was carefully chosen after an audit of their competitive set.
After many years trading as Ocean Kitchens, business owners Gus Riddle and Ian Coghill wanted a name and logo to truly reflect the upmarket nature of projects now undertaken and the higher quality kitchen and interior ranges available. Now called Riddle & Coghill Interiors with a new logo to build the brand upon , which balances the company name with the Interiors description and also includes a couple of small activity icons to make it more distinctive along with the strapline of Kitchen – Bedrooms – Home offices, so more than just kitchens. Already completed in this rebranding are the stationery and signage plus vehicle liveries.
